Minna Tuovinen and Martin Heslop formed Improtango Company, formerly known as As2wrists Dance Company, in 1999. The company's unique style results from them working intimately together for over 30 years.
Their work is dynamic and richly complex, combining strong emotional themes and original movement material. These sumptuously beautiful works in which sound, lighting, scenography and movement merge into a potent artistic force have been well received.
National and international festivals have commissioned many of their works. The company has performed at festivals throughout Europe and South America.
